In order to create that list, Forbes looked at income from record sales, touring, endorsements, merchandise, and other ventures. The figures represent earnings from May 2011 to May 2012, before subtracting management fees, legal costs and taxes.
Para criar essa lista, a Forbes olhou para a renda das vendas dos discos, turnês, marketing, produtos e outros empreendimentos. Os números representam os ganhos de maio de 2011 a maio de 2012, antes de subtrair as taxas administrativas, despesas judiciais e impostos.
