IN & NOW: EMMY AWARDS - All about blue!!!

Hi guys!!! I'm so excited that this is my 100th post!!! So at the end of last week, which was such a hard week for me (tons of work), I decided not to write about anything and focus on this special post this week, with a fresh and open mind and lots of energy!!! 

Olá pessoal!!! Estou muito empolgada que este é o meu 100º post!!! Então, no final da semana passada, que foi uma semana tão dura para mim (toneladas de trabalho), decidi não escrever sobre nada e focar neste post especial esta semana, com a cabeça fresca e aberta e com muita energia!!!

First of all, I can anticipate to you that I'm going to start a nice series of posts about São Paulo... coming up this week!!!

Primeiro de tudo, gostaria de antecipar a vocês que começarei uma série de posts sobre São Paulo... em breve nesta semana!!!

And today, given the fact that yesterday was such an important day for the Red Carpet (LOVE IT!!!) and we had the live broadcasting of the EMMY Awards (with live interpreters, which made me very proud of for the Brazilian TV) that is, for those who are unaware of it, the event to award the best on TV - different from the Oscar, for instance, that awards the best on the big screen.

E hoje, visto que ontem foi um dia tão importante para o Tapete Vermelho (AMO!!!) e tivemos a transmissão ao vivo do EMMY Awards (com intérpretes ao vivo, o que me deixou muito orgulhosa com a TV brasileira) que é, para aqueles que não sabem, o evento para premiar os melhores da TV - diferente do Oscar, por exemplo, que premia os melhores da telona (cinema).

And as we, women, love to see what celebrities are wearing, I noticed one unbeatable trend there: shades of blue!!! There are about 20 looks showing this beautiful color and I want to show almost all of them to you!!! They are in order... the best is the last!!! PS: pay attention to the language used to describe the looks and if you want to learn more about the designers click on the name of the brand!!! 

E como nós, mulheres, amamos ver o que as celebridades estão usando, percebi uma tendência imbatível lá: tons de azul!!! Há cerca de 20 looks mostrando essa cor linda e quero mostrar quase todos eles para vocês!!! Eles estão em ordem... o melhor é o último!!! PS: prestem atenção na linguagem usada para descrever os looks e se quiserem saber mais sobre os estilistas, cliquem no nome da marca!!!

And the winner, in my opinion, besides the wardrobe malfunction she had some minutes before being on stage with a broken ziper, Sofia Vergara rocked in this turquoise glittering gown by Zuhair Murad. 

E a vencedora, em minha opinião, apesar do mau-funcionamento de seu vestido que ela teve minutos antes de estar no palco com um zíper quebrado, Sofia Vergara arrasou com este vestido turquesa brilhante da marca Zuhair Murad.

IN & NOW: Kate and William win case over topless pictures

According to US Magazine, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge won the battle over the pictures in which Kate appears topless on their vacation. Check out what they said:

In a decision made Tuesday morning outside Paris, Closer has been handed a slew of demands: 

It must not print any more copies of its issue featuring William and Kate, 30, and must remove the topless pics from its website; the photos cannot be published in any other magazines or newspapers in France; the photos cannot be sold anywhere else in the world; the photos must be handed over to the Palace by midday Wednesday.

Em uma decisão tomada na terça-feira de manhã fora de Paris, a revista Closer recebeu um grande número de demandas:

Ela não deve mais imprimir cópias dessa edição com William e Kate, 30, na capa e deve remover as fotos de topless de seu site; as fotos não podem ser publicadas em nenhuma outra revista ou jornal da França; as fotos não podem ser vendidas em nenhum lugar do mundo; as fotos devem ser entregues para o Palácio até o meio-dia de quarta-feira.

If they do not do what was established they have to pay a fine of 10,000 euro per each incident... let's see if they will follow the rules now!!!

Se eles não fizerem o que foi estabelecido, terã que pagar uma multa de 10.000 euros por cada incidente... vamos ver se eles irão seguir as regras agora!!!

IN & NOW: FIFA's Armadillo Alert

FIFA introduced the next mascot for the 2014 FIFA World Cup™: a Brazilian three-banded armadillo, a creature that is indigenous to Brazil. The mascot was officially launched yesterday and welcomed by Ronaldo.

A  FIFA apresentou o próximo mascote para a Copa do Mundo FIFA de 2014: o tatu-bola brasileiro, uma criatura que é indígena no Brasil. O mascote foi oficialmente lançado ontem e recebido por Ronaldo.

Today the mascot was spotted in a favela in Rio cheering up children and people from the community.

Hoje o mascote foi visto em uma favela do Rio animando as crianças e pessoas da comunidade.

By November, people can choose among 3 names for the mascot: Amijubi (a mix of friendship and jubilation), Fuleco (a mix of soccer and ecology) and Zuzeco (a mix of blue and ecology). Which one would you choose??? If you want to vote, click here.
