Good morning, guys!!! Last weekend I went to the movies to see The Hangover Part III. I love this movie sequence and was looking forward to seeing the gran finale!!! So when I was watching the movie it occurred to me that I could help you out picking up some new vocabulary or just paying attention to some interesting words and expressions said during the movie, because one of the things that I do when I'm watching a TV series or anything in another language is trying to back away from the subtitles, to force myself to get exactly what they are saying. But I know that our brain starts getting tired at some point and then we relax and read... it's natural, because when we're relaxing our brain thinks in lazy mode, it wants the easiest way of thinking, so reading the subtitles.
Bom dia, pessoal!!! Fim de semana passado, fui ao cinema para ver Se Beber Não Case III. Eu amo essa sequência de filmes e estava ansiosa para ver o gran finale!!! Então, quando estava assistindo ao filme, pensei que poderia ajudar vocês a aprender vocabulário novo ou apenas prestar atenção em algumas palavras e expressões interessantes ditas durante o filme, porque uma das coisas que faço quando estou assistindo a uma série de TV ou qualquer coisa em outro idioma é tentar me distanciar das legendas, me forçar a entender exatamente o que eles estão dizendo. Mas sei que nosso cérebro começa a ficar cansado em um dado momento e então relaxamos e lemos... é natural, porque quando estamos relaxando nosso cérebro pensa em modo preguiçoso, ele quer a forma mais fácil de pensar, lendo assim as legendas. That's why just watching things in English is not enough to learn. We have to identify and try to put into use what we see and hear in these programs. So, I selected some expressions from the movie and the first part of the exercise is trying to identify their meaning.
É por isso que apenas assistindo a coisas em inglês não é suficiente para aprender. Temos que identificar e procurar colocar em uso o que vemos e ouvimos nesses programas. Então, selecionei algumas expressões do filme e a primeira parte do exercício é tentar identificar o significado delas.

Continuando o exercício, agora tente fazer frases, e quando eu digo fazer frases, sempre aconselho vocês a tentar fazer frases reais, para que haja uma ligação com a realidade e você possa memorizá-las mais facilmente.
