So today is February 14th, a date to celebrate love! I'm not talking only about the love of a couple, but the love you have for the ones surrounding you, your family, friends and your partner as well.

Então hoje é dia 14 de fevereiro, uma data para celebrar o amor! Não estou falando somente do amor de um casal, mas do amor que você tem pelos que estão em sua volta, sua família, seus amigos e seu parceiro também.

This day we celebrate Saint Valentine, a saint who prayed love under the Roman Empire and was even imprisioned because he used to perform weddings for soldiers at that time, those who were forbidden to marry since they had to fight for their empire.
Neste dia celebramos São Valentim, um santo que pregou o amor sob o Império Romano e foi até mesmo aprisionado porque ele costumava realizar casamentos para soldados naquela época, esses que eram proibidos de se casarem já que tinham que lutar pelo seu império.

Nowadays the symbol of love remains and people send cards, flowers and candies to the loved ones, spreading love all around.
Hoje em dia, o símbolo do amor continua e as pessoas enviam cartões, flores e doces para seus amados, espalhando o amor por toda parte.

In Brazil, we celebrate love on June 12th, but more strictly between couples.

No Brasil, celebramos o amor no dia 12 de junho, mas mais estritamente entre os casais.
